Mike has been a professional musician for more than half of his life. He has toured through most of the US and Canada with his past bands; the Mudhens, Johnny Groove, The Motor City Rhythm Kings and The Flutie Brother's Band (featuring Doug and Darren Flutie).
Mike has played on the Howard Stern Show, Entertainment Tonight, Much Music and been mentioned on MTV as well as spots on national and network news stations from Vancouver to Boston. He has even done 4 sold-out shows in Las Vegas and played at three Super Bowl pre-game events.
Mike has gotten the chance to play "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Gimme 3 Steps" with members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, "Wanted Dead or Alive" with members of Bon Jovi and "Twist and Shout" and "Old Time Rock and Roll" with members of N&Sync as well as jamming with members of Skid Row, Foreigner, the Doobie Brothers, Willie Nelson's Band and the band Boston. Mike was called when the Red Hot Chili Peppers were looking for a guitarist and had the opportunity to spend a week and jam with them out in LA.
Over the last few years with his previous bands, Mike has gotten the chance to open up for quite a few bands like Neil Young, Beck, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, 10,000 Maniacs, Jimmy Buffett, Cake, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Ben Folds Five, Peter Wolf, John Cafferty, Woody Harrelson, Bo Diddley, Meredith Brookes, Kula Shaker, Lynyrd Skynyrd, 98 Degrees, Color Me Badd, C+C Music Factory, the Shirelles among many others.
As a song writer, Mike has had inter-national success with 3 songs that made it into the sound tracks of sitcoms and TV movies and had 3 songs chart nationally on commercial radio. And, if you're a fan of late night TV you may catch Mike on re-runs of the Howard Stern Show and HBO segue spots.
If you like Saturday morning kids TV you may catch Mike on a program called "Under the Helmet" performing with Doug Flutie and the Flutie Gang in front of 25,000 fans when they drew the biggest crowd in down town Buffalo in over a decade.
